This map covers the bush tracks from the
crossing over the Normanby River, through Kalpowar Station to Pandanus Park.
The road is formed gravel from the
river crossing to Kalpowar Homestead and from thereon it becomes a two rut bush track.
Take care on this single vehicle width track.

you will encounter. Drive slowly as there are some rough patches and creek
crossings

Road surface:
Two rut bush track. Some corrugated sections and a few rough patches through
the dry swamp grasslands. Keep an eye out for oncoming traffic.
Hazards:
Horse Creek at 3.8 kilometres from the homestead turn can be rough and
chopped up. Early arrivals may find it wet.
